About the Band

The East Walifornian band Madness in Action channeled the hard rock dynamism of the likes of The Offspring, Guns N' Roses, and Nirvana, yet they warm up their riffs from heavily distorted tones inspired by Tool, Limp Bizkit, and Slayer.

Former drummer Ditch Manygan, bassist Art Morello and guitar/vocalist Phil W. James met at Art School, where skipping classes was the first rule. They decided to create the band and started writing the songs that concluded in their first album "Ideology of the 21st Century".

The quad band formed at the beginning of 2014 when Nico Marshall joined. The core of their vibrations comes from hard pounding, snappy drums, bass vitality and heavily distorted guitars, alongside with Phil's emotional voice.

"Now it's time to appreciate Madness In Action live — writing good songs is one part of the things but only sharing it with an audience brings it alive. Peace and Madness." — Phil
